Implementation of a Virtual Course on Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2015 Mediated by TIC

Abstract

This study presents the design and implementation of a virtual course on Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2015, using Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and the ADDIE instructional design model. The course was developed on the Q10 Academic learning platform, used by the Celaph company. The research included an initial diagnosis based on surveys administered to 30 Industrial Engineering students, which revealed deficiencies in internal audits and process documentation. Based on these findings, four learning modules were designed with a practical approach, integrating simulations and case studies. The results show an innovative process for teaching students to understand the ISO 9001 standard, although opportunities were identified to strengthen synchronous interaction and the use of advanced digital tools.
