Isolated AC Microgrid for Power Supply to Agricultural Production Systems

implementation of an electrical generation system that utilizes renewable energy resources, supervised through control and monitoring systems based on IoT (Internet of Things). The study includes a diagnosis of renewable energy resources in Colombia to identify the most suitable technologies for their use.
Subsequently, an isolated AC microgrid will be designed to supply power to agricultural productive systems. This microgrid will be supervised through a control and monitoring center that includes a Raspberry Pi board as the command center, managing real-time control actions.
Finally, the microgrid will be implemented as a solution in a real-world scenario at the Santa Lucía Research Center of the Instituto Universitario de la Paz. This infrastructure will support the study of new strategies for the management and control of AC electrical microgrids, as well as the evaluation of simulated scenarios in photovoltaic systems. In addition, it will allow for performance assessment of productive systems using new technologies for electrical power supply.
