Abstract

This project aims to design and implement a didactic test bench for the development of electrical diagrams in single-phase systems, serving as a practical educational tool in the Electromechanical Operations Laboratory at the Instituto Universitario de la Paz – UNIPAZ. In response to the need to strengthen students' competencies in handling electromechanical systems and operating devices such as contactors, timers, push buttons, and switches, this solution simulates real scenarios through the controlled assembly of circuits.

The methodology included a study of required components, CAD-based design of the bench, and the physical assembly of the structure and electrical diagrams. The project was successfully completed, with the bench implemented in a real educational setting, allowing students to interact directly with electrical elements under safe conditions and using appropriate personal protective equipment. This tool represents a significant advancement in technical education and has potential for replication in future research, training, and educational activities
